- The 902 - 928 MHz Band -

There are some considerations to operating  in the 902-928 band in Canada.  Certain services other than the Amateur Service have priority.
FIXED is Primary - this could cover a wide range of point to point and point to multi-point assignments.
RADIOLOCATION is Primary - Limited to Government of Canada ship borne radars which are not permitted to operate in inland waters.
AMATEUR is Secondary, and MOBILE (except aeronautical mobile) also has a secondary allocation.
Also, this band is an ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) band in Canada, and other services must accept interference from ISM operations in this band.
There are license-exempt devices operating in this band which may not interfere with other services.

When setting up a project and selecting an operating frequency, it would be a good idea to search the Industry Canada table of frequency assignments before operating.  You can do a search by frequency segment and by geographic area
on this site
.  Note that not all current users in the frequency segment will necessarily  be reported.

CS0, 1 and 2 refer to the state of the pins used to set the
available  frequencies of the modules on power up.
These pins can be controlled with switches or by a microcontroller.

You might want to compare the suggested bandplan above
with the following RAC bandplan.  This plan will be reviewed
in the near future, and hopefully will be simplified somewhat.
In Ottawa, VE3TVA, an FM ATV repeater, has its output on 914 +/-5 MHz.
